5-Ingredient Protein Chai

A chai latte is one of my favorite drinks and adding protein to the mix has been game changing. I personally am trying to consume more protein during the day and this drink is a perfect post workout snack and it’s only 5 ingredients! I used Trader Joe’s spiced chai concentrate because it’s vegan and tastes amazing. If you do not consume honey, make sure to double check on the chai concentrate you purchase because many of them are made with honey. This 5-ingredient protein chai will be your new got drink, I promise.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chai concentrate (I used the spiced chai concentrate from Trader Joe's)
  • 1 premade Orgain Vanilla Bean Flavored plant-based protein shake
  • 1/2 tablespoon agave
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup plant-based milk
  • ice

Instructions

In a large mason jar, add the protein shake and chai concentrate. Stir to combine.

In a separate small cup, combine the plant-based milk, cinnamon, and agave and froth the mixture. This step is totally optional, I just think it takes the drink to the next level.

Add desired amount of ice to your mason jar.

Pour the froth milk mixture over the protein chai and finish it with an extra sprinkle of cinnamon. Enjoy!
