Spicy Avocado Toast

I must say, avocado toast is one of my favorite breakfast foods and this spicy avocado toast with poached eggs will elevate your classic avo toast. Packed with flavor and healthy fats from the avocado and protein from the poached egg, this will easily become a breakfast staple in your house. I love adding goat cheese as well because it adds a beautiful creamy texture to the crispy toast.

Ingredients

  • Fresh sourdough bread, toasted
  • 1 avocado
  • Crumbled Goat cheese
  • Broccoli sprouts
  • Poached eggs
  • Trader Joe’s crunchy chili onion
  • Salt & pepper
  • Garlic salt
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice

Instructions

Add the avocado to a bowl and mash until it reaches your texture. I personally like mine to be pretty smooth.

Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Drizzle with a little olive oil and a squeeze of lemon juice. Mixture to combine.

Top toasted sourdough bread with the mashed avocado, crumbled goat cheese, broccoli sprouts, Trader Joe’s crunchy chili onion, and a poached egg (or no egg or egg cooked to desired way). Enjoy!
